Demogorgon Raid
The Demogorgon Raid was the second Raid created for Never Winter online. It was part of the Underdark Expansion release in Nov 2015. I collaborated with the Art team and Design to get the look and feel of the zone. Design wanted the fight to have multiple phases and I wanted to incorporate those changes in the environment as well. I set up a couple of rock assets that warp and bend with each phase. Complimenting how the Demogorgon Boss warps it's prey. Because of time constraints we were unable to create new assets for the raid so I had altered architectural kits to fit the needs of the zone. I also made time to use Substance Designer for one of the terrain textures. Creating a warped rock texture that would be painted down closer to the portal that lead to the Demogorgon's realm. I wanted to show how Substances could be useful for the art team for future expansions. I created the macro detail in Zbrush and the micro detail in Substances.
